About the Team

The Sales and Marketing Team at Respiris is currently a dedicated force of two, led by the Founder and CEO, who also serves as the Sales Leader and Fractional Head of Human Resources. This team of one is passionately driving the company’s mission, working in collaboration with SideTool, Respiris, and various partners to create revenue and expand services. 

Marketing and Client Operations have been fractional resources to Respiris, but this new role is a dedicated resource committed to the company’s revenue growth. As the company grows, this role has the potential to evolve into a Chief Operating Officer or Chief Marketing Officer position, reflecting the increasing complexity and scope of the business. However, the immediate focus will remain on business development, with responsibilities primarily centered on identifying and securing new opportunities to drive growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Build multi-channel, scaled outbound sales programs that reach key personas at target accounts, leading to new qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, Marketing, and Client Operations to generate new ideas, prioritize initiatives, and execute strategies.
  • Develop outbound messaging and creative concepts to capture attention, generate responses, and build relationships with prospects.
  • Identify connections to target accounts, understand opportunities by geographic location for events, and request introductions.
  • Manage outreach to prospects, new, and existing partners.
  • Leverage win/closed/lost notes and previous relationship managers to determine outreach strategies.
  • Support events by maintaining lists of customer and prospect geographic locations, using platforms like Phantom Buster to scrape relevant data, and ensuring the right people are invited to the right events.
  • Manage several different inboxes to ensure thorough inbound lead follow-up.
  • Monitor automated inbound and outbound programs to ensure all appropriate leads are included and that programs are optimized for success.
  • Utilize social networks to facilitate introductions to Respiris.

  • Strong creative writing ability and outside-of-the-box thinking to capture attention.
  • Clear written communication skills, with a role more aligned to a Partner Marketing growth path than Sales.
  • Expertise using outbound tools such as ContactOut, PipeDrive, and PhantomBuster, with a deep understanding of automating the outbound prospecting process using targeted list building and mass personalization.
  • Experience A/B testing outbound messaging to uncover best strategies.
  • Some experience working with Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance personas.
  • Comfort with AI-based workflows and tools for research and copywriting.
  • Experience with client partner relationships like Sequoia, Mercer, Benefits Brokers, etc.
