Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service, fostering strong professional relationships.
• Leverage your expertise in various EDC systems to recommend optimal solutions for clients.
• Serve as the primary contact for data management suppliers, ensuring business needs are addressed and negotiated effectively.
• Work closely with clients on all project aspects, nurturing robust, collaborative relationships.
• Oversee the entire data management process from study initiation to completion, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Evaluate study protocols with clients, delivering constructive feedback to ensure effective database designs.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and FDA regulations as they relate to data management.
• Mentor and train new clinical data managers, contributing to the team’s overall growth and expertise.
• Address and resolve issues in key activities such as CRF tracking, data entry, validation, coding, and database lock.
• Prepare and manage essential study documentation, including CRFs and Data Management Plans.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for study-specific systems and applications.
• Collaborate across teams to adhere to study timelines and milestones.
• Initiate process enhancements, including updates to SOPs and improvements to data management systems.
• Engage in organizational initiatives, offering expert insights on project management practices.

Required Skills

• Profound knowledge of paper CRF, EDC, and hybrid CDM systems.
• Strong familiarity with clinical operations SOPs and practices.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Capability to clearly articulate data management services to clients, including during bid defense meetings.
• Proactive approach with a strong ability to work independently and lead projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or healthcare field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, including over 1 year leading projects.
