Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Commercial Team. This strategic advisor role will play an integral part in developing cohesive relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coverage related inquiries and analysis, driving renewal efforts, and partnering with Producers on prospective marketing initiatives. This team member will be a proactive problem solver with demonstrated success in servicing a book of Community Associations and other Real Estate accounts (mixed use, commercial, apartments, etc.)

In this role you will:

• Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations
• Leverage commercial P&C insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities
• Foster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in AMS accordingly
• Nurture professional relationships through the facilitation of personal client meetings and consistent client contact
• Participate in the retention of renewal business. Interacting with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of insurance products
• Ensure the client has continuous and proper coverage and advising the client of any recommendations within a mutually established timeline
• Review current policies and providing recommendations regarding placement options. Utilizing coverage checklists and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage and premiums
• Support the implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier
• Execute coverage analysis as needed as well as provide the client with accurate quotes for any additional coverages

Expertise we desire:

• 5+ years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experience
• Valid P&C license
• College degree preferred
• Industry specific designations preferred- CISR, ARM or similar
• Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting
• Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information
• Understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to collect, interpret and/or analyze complex data and information
• Flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure, handling multiple tasks with interruptions and changing priorities
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills
