As a key player in our team, the Sr. Customer Marketing Manager will spearhead strategies designed to enhance customer loyalty, drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and improve retention and advocacy. This role requires a deep understanding of customer behaviors and preferences to create precision-targeted marketing campaigns that fuel growth and elevate the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and branding, playing a pivotal role in driving customer-centric success and shaping our marketing narrative.
While MentorcliQ is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, we’re accepting candidates from anywhere in the U.S. who are willing and able to work remotely.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute customer marketing strategies to increase engagement, loyalty, growth, and retention.
- Design and implement customer segmentation and targeting strategies to deliver personalized marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing customer base.
- Create and manage customer advocacy programs, including referrals, testimonials, and case studies.
- Partner with content marketing to develop customer-focused content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, and social media campaigns.
- Manage customer events—both online and in-person—to strengthen engagement and advocacy.
- Leverage marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce, or Marketo) to track campaigns and measure ROI.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of trends and best practices in customer marketing.
- Work closely with product management, providing customer feedback to inform product enhancements and development.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to explore new avenues for customer engagement.

- You have strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting data and deriving actionable insights.
- You’re proficient in using marketing automation and CRM systems, such as Pardot, Salesforce, or Marketo.
- You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful customer marketing campaigns.
- You possess strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
- You’re a creative thinker with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to innovate.
- You’re a collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment, building relationships with stakeholders.
- You understand customer segmentation and how to apply targeting strategies for optimized results.
- You’re well-versed in digital marketing channels, including email, social media, and content marketing.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer marketing or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with customer lifecycle management and journey mapping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when presenting to executives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
