- This role requires an experienced professional with deep Actimize data expertise, and a solid understanding of business analysis, Actimize modules, and data management in financial services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving successful projects in a global banking environment. Responsibilities for this role includes:
- Data Leadership: Lead and manage database systems and technical business analysis projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure they meet business objectives.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze and document current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize database performance and efficiency.
- ETL Design and Development: Provide hands-on expertise in ETL design, development, and error handling, with a deep understanding of Actimize SAM, AIS modules, and the Actimize Data Model.
- Data Solutions Implementation: Design, develop, and implement data solutions within financial institutions, specifically focusing on Actimize SAM, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- • Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Offer technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts and team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and skills development.
- • Data Integrity and Security: Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across all database systems, maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- • Best Practices Development: Establish and implement best practices for database management, technical business analysis, and process improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with business objectives.
- Project Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and successful completion of initiatives.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis on new Actimize software versions and features, evaluating the impact on current functionality and proposing necessary adjustments.
- Documentation: Document all business and data analysis findings, including recommendations for future improvements.
- Testing and UAT Support: Prepare and execute test cases, assist during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and work with business users to review and validate UAT outcomes.
- Cloud Experience: Demonstrated experience working with cloud technologies, preferably on GCP.
- Programming Expertise: Advanced proficiency in MS SQL (with strong query performance tuning skills), SAS, SQL, Python, PySpark, or Scala (SAS experience preferred but not required).
- AML Transaction Monitoring Standards: Extensive knowledge of AML Transaction Monitoring standards and best practices within large, global financial institutions.
- •Meeting Participation: Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings, contributing to the team’s overall success
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Data Management, Statistics or related fields
