Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will sit in the Principal Engineering team and play a key role in creating our data standards. You will work closely with the security team to ensure all data is protected and compliant with audit requirements. Additionally, you will act as the Data Architect across all squads and provide 3rd line support for all DBA work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce data standards.
• Collaborate with security to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Act as the Data Architect across squads, design scalable data models and workflows.
• Provide 3rd line support for database administration tasks, including performance optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Design and optimise data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Implement and manage data storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and database management.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data protection and security standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with data pipeline and ETL processes.
