Senior Data Scientist (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who is passionate about building insightful, scalable, and impactful data products. Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Data Product Development: Design, build, optimize, and support data-driven products and algorithms within a Data Mesh architecture.
• Advanced Data Modeling: Leverage your deep understanding of data to create models that can scale, drive business insights, and solve complex problems.
• GCP Expertise: Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc to design and deploy high-performance data pipelines and machine learning workflows.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business teams to define project requirements, translate business needs into data science solutions, and deliver end-to-end data products.
• Innovation and Optimization: Continuously improve the quality, performance, and accuracy of predictive models, analytics, and data-driven products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data scientist
• Advanced knowledge of GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Proficiency in data-focused programming languages and query languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, Scala) and data formats like Parquet and Avro.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and their trade-offs when working with large-scale datasets.
• Experience with NoSQL and RDBMS databases and understanding how to work with both structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• A true passion for data science, machine learning, and applying data to drive meaningful outcomes.
