Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce intricate technical documentation, encompassing design, coding, and testing phases to ensure the delivery of superior products.
• Implement development methodologies and adopt best practices in application design, web services, and database management.
• Offer technical consulting to senior leadership on intricate projects, which include modifying existing applications and designing new modules.
• Utilize your expertise in application development with Java, C, and related technologies, particularly in Medicaid and Medicare contexts.
• Employ your knowledge of software design principles, programming languages, and systems to devise impactful solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership through proficient communication skills.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in application development with strong proficiency in batch UNIX/LINUX C programming.
• Advanced skills in SQL (MS SQL Server) along with familiarity with various technologies, such as Java, JPA/Eclipse Link, JAXB/XML, among others.
• Experience in Java 7 threading, Oracle DB, Apache Derby, Eclipse IDE, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Solid analytical capabilities, comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming, and experience with JUnit and Test-Driven Development methodologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proficiency in UNIX/LINUX C programming is essential.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with various technologies relevant to the role.
• Proven experience in Java threading and familiarity with database technologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with Test-Driven Development is expected.
