ABOUT THE ROLE

Ekhosoft is looking for a Senior Front-End developer with React and Cloud / Azure experience to join our team and participate in the development of our platform.

As the Senior Front-End Developer you will be part of a team of talented IT professionals and work on the design and implementation of an azure/big data platform in the Industrial market.

Using the latest technologies and cloud infrastructures, you will work toward offering the best platform to manage assets efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the Design, Development, and Review of the application.
  • Act as a Senior Front-End Developer and stay on top of its newest technologies and best practices.
  • Work with rigorous methodology and deliver high-quality products.
  • Be part of the development team process improvement.
  • Actively participate in several projects as required.


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities, work well under pressure, and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:

  • Degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with as a Front-End Developer
  • Deep understanding of React and TypeScript
  • Understanding of queues and pub-sub messaging paradigms
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure, is an asset
  • Knowledge of Azure services related to queueing, messaging, and event handling
  • Ability to work with cloud-based technologies for scalable and reliable systems
  • Proficient in SQL with a basic understanding, preferably good knowledge, of EF Core
  • Familiarity with C#
  • Familiarity with REST API concepts and experience in building them
  • Basic knowledge of Time Series Databases, particularly InfluxDB, is advantageous
  • Keen interest in exploring new technologies and trends in the industry
  • Able to understand and implement design patterns such as Micro-service, Repository, Service, etc.
  • Knowledge of Dapr is a plus
  • Result oriented with attention to details
  • Curious about new trends in technology and be proactive
  • Bilingual (French) highly preferred.
