As a Mid/Senior Scala Senior Development Engineer, you will join our growing R&D team following Agile methodologies and working together with our Product House to build innovative and robust Telco messaging solutions running on AWS cloud and on-premise.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Java/Scala based platforms. Including entire production life cycle of backend and frontend applications.
• Conceive efficient, scalable, reliable, and reusable code. Implement and promote best software engineering practices: design patterns, security by design, code reviews, responsive design, Test-driven development…
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Collaborate with Product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Share information with the rest of the team and provide solid technical documentation.

WE HOPE YOU HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in development.
• 3+ years of experience of Java/Scala.
• Hands-on experience with AWS is a plus.
• Experience working with databases technologies, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB.
• Play framework experience.
• Common coding language exposure, such as Python, PHP.
• Proficient English level (both written and spoken).
• Exposure to SMS, Voice/ Kamailio and SS7 communication technologies would be beneficial.
