Senior Devsecops Engineer Wfh Role (Remote)

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote role. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) framework services for both existing and new software applications. Your primary objective will be to develop self-service systems that empower teams and to cultivate an environment conducive to learning and collaboration. This position requires a unique blend of technical acumen and exceptional communication skills, vital for effective cross-team partnerships. You will have the chance to manage diverse projects and concentrate on specialized areas, such as Quality Assurance or Coaching, while enhancing our overall DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain CI/CD frameworks and services to support software applications.
• Establish self-service systems enabling teams to manage their CI/CD pipelines autonomously.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the incorporation of DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members regarding the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices within the organization.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Agile teams, with a solid grasp of Agile development and release methodologies.
• Strong technical proficiency with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• At least four years of practical experience in the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with tools like Terraform.
• Previous experience in the banking sector is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
