Job Title: Senior Director, International HCP Marketing
Department: International Marketing & Sales Excellence

Position Overview:
The Senior Director of HCP Marketing will be responsible for all downstream HCP marketing activities across the international business. This role will work in close collaboration with the global franchise teams, Global Commercial Capability (GCC) groups (e.g. Global Marketing Excellence, Global Commercial Operations) and country marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of new product launch plans & materials. In addition, this leader will be responsible for developing and implementing annual operating plans to fuel Omnipod awareness & customer base growth across the international markets.
The Sr. Director of HCP Marketing will be adept at navigating a matrix organization and partnering with multiple different global internal stakeholders to ensure successful and timely implementation of business growth activities. This person will also build and contribute to a strong team culture focused around commitment, inspiration, passion and achievement.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead downstream HCP new product launch execution including market localization as and where required
  • Lead a small team of marketers to serve the needs of our country stakeholders
  • Centralize Marketing activities, tools and platforms across local marketing teams
  • Build and implement annual operating plans in coordination with International Marketing & Sales Excellence leadership team
  • Partner with country marketing teams to support in-market initiatives and product launch localization
  • Collaborate with Franchise leadership to champion international market needs and insights and build local requirements into positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Funnel global marketing assets and creative to international regional / local teams and support tailoring as needed
  • Deliver on all regional (and some local) and team event/meeting planning and coordination
  • Develop campaigns and frameworks to deliver across local markets as needed
  • Deliver translation support for all international marketing assets
  • Synchronize & scale best practices for international in-market marketing teams and ensure HCP commercial learnings are leveraged and shared across regions
  • Serve as voice of international HCP marketing and insights with franchise leads, GCC leads and key partner functions (market access, med affairs, regulatory etc.)
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with specialization in Marketing, Business or a related industry field desired. MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10-12 years of marketing experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
  • Expertise in international market development and downstream product management
  • Experience working and partnering with HCPs and key opinion leaders in the field
  • Experience developing global products and driving expansion into international markets
  • Proven track record of leading successful new product launches
  • Experience leading and inspiring a team to deliver globally through ability to influence and build rapport
  • Strategic plan development and implementation
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
  • Experience in diabetes therapeutic area is highly preferred, with medical device experience preferred
  • Experience with a high growth business and knowledge of how to build market share and brand awareness
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity and change and ability to create definition and drive urgency around key priorities
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams at various levels of an organization
  • Solid track record of identifying, building and developing marketing teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to interface successfully at all levels of the organization, with external parties, with KOLs and physicians and patients both formally and informally.
Physical Requirements:
  • 30% international travel
  • Hybrid/remote location possible
