We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly-skilled Electronics Engineer to play a key role in the development and improvement of the CROVER robot and systems.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electronic circuits and systems, including architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, and components selection

• Architect and design robust, scalable, and secure electronic systems

• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (in particular European and North American standards), including EMI and EMC compliance

• Oversee the manufacturing, installation, and testing of electrical equipment and sub-systems

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for designs, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures

• Identify and resolve technical issues and provide support for manufacturing and field service teams

• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products

• Reviewing the work of and providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior electrical engineers

• Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure functionality

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications

• Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve electronics architecture and deliver cutting-edge solutions

Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of proven experience in electronics design and development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

• Proficiency in electronic design software (Altium Designer) and simulation tools

• Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design, including microcontrollers, power supplies, motors control, battery systems, and communication interfaces

• Advanced expertise in PCB schematics and layout and design for manufacturability and reliability

• Mastery of selecting components and maintaining robust libraries and design templates in Altium, ensuring consistency across the entire organization

• Experience with electronic testing and measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

• Strong English written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience working with international teams and in global markets

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements

• Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks, fostering both personal and company growth
