This position requires candidates to possess FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation experience on their resume for consideration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering environmental services and strategic management for midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple projects from routing/siting through to construction compliance.
- Lead resource teams conducting environmental studies and preparing necessary permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
- Liaise effectively with federal, state, and local agencies throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
- Facilitate communication with the public and stakeholders at various hearings and meetings.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and ensure compliance through inspections.
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with MS Project and MS Dynamics for effective reporting and tracking.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting, specifically for pipelines.
- Proven expertise in FERC regulations and relevant federal environmental regulations.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
