Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects from routing/siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams conducting environmental studies and preparing necessary permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with federal, state, and local agencies throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Facilitate communication with the public and stakeholders at various hearings and meetings.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure successful project execution.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and ensure compliance through inspections.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting, specifically for pipelines.
  • Proven expertise in FERC regulations and relevant federal environmental regulations.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
