Key Responsibilities

• Oversee numerous projects, guiding them from routing and siting phases through to construction compliance.
• Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and managing permit applications, particularly those involving FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
• Liaise effectively with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of professionals, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
• Represent the organization at public meetings and stakeholder hearings, ensuring effective communication.
• Manage project scope, budget, and timelines while providing accurate forecasting.
• Actively participate in business development initiatives and attend industry conferences to enhance networking opportunities.
• Conduct field assessments and ensure compliance inspections are carried out effectively.

Required Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of FERC regulations and relevant federal environmental regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
