Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple midstream pipeline projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
- Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, ensuring adherence to FERC Section 7© regulations.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies to facilitate project approvals.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams, including engineers and legal experts, to drive project success.
- Communicate effectively with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
- Monitor and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and forecasting.
- Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to ensure project alignment with regulations.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge in environmental licensing and permitting specific to pipeline projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with a self-starting attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Teams, and MS Dynamics for project tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in pipeline environmental licensing and permitting.
- Comprehensive understanding of FERC regulations and federal environmental laws.
