Job Overview

PostJobMatches By WorkStaff USA, a premier staffing agency in the job placement sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager specializing in pipeline projects. This position allows for 100% remote work for candidates located within the United States. Candidates must possess FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation experience to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams focused on environmental studies and the preparation of permit applications, with an emphasis on FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate project approvals.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings, effectively communicating project goals and progress.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure timely completion of objectives.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to maintain project integrity.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations along with federal environmental regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specifically related to pipeline projects.
  • Professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
