Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Manager with a focus on pipeline projects to join our esteemed environmental team. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work, provided you reside within the United States. Candidates must demonstrate experience with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation on their resume for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of projects from preliminary routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing necessary permit applications, inclusive of FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate project progression.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, legal experts, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during community meetings and hearings to communicate project updates.
  • Monitor and manage all project components, including scope, budget, schedules, and forecasting metrics.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold environmental standards.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental guidelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational competencies and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project and MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specific to pipeline projects.
  • Proven track record managing a variety of projects, specifically small to mid-sized projects ((25k to )100k) and larger projects ($500k+).
