In this role, you will support the Marketing team as we continue to scale our event marketing strategy and increase our market share in EMEA.
Requirements
- Support execution of event strategy. Support Senior Manager, Events & Field Marketing to build and accelerate pipeline and drive revenue, including vendor selection and communications, contract negotiations and KPI evaluations / ROI analysis.
- Showcase administrative and operational expertise. Draft event documentation, including event program briefs, meeting trackers, attendee guides and more. Book hotel room blocks and monitor attendee travel confirmations and event registration. Submit vendor invoices and track expenses, submit event credit card receipts to finance, schedule critical event meetings & record meeting minutes and action items.
- Provide end-to-end event support. Support Senior Manager, Events & Field Marketing in coordinating live events by managing sponsorship deliverables, owning logistics for all EMEA events, and coordinating various event-related tasks, including exhibit booth design and logistics, show services (internet, electrical, shipping, material handling, etc.), registration and attendance for field events, venue set up, swag & giveaways, print collateral, shipments, badge scans export and clean up, post-event staff surveys, and providing other support as needed.
- Be a trusted, collaborative partner. Collaborate with sales, customer success, content, design, product marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, finance and executives to support all aspects of Constructor’s involvement in industry trade shows and conferences and regional field events
- Engage your audience with creativity. Draft copy for event landing pages, event promotional emails, and event graphics. Conceptualize unique exhibit booth designs tailored to the audience and region of specific events. Support conference sponsorship activations and field marketing experiences that will not only leave a lasting impression, but also drive revenue and growth.
- This role requires about 30% travel within Europe, primarily in the UK, Germany, and Sweden. We are targeting 6-10 events in EMEA in 2025, but this is subject to change slightly.
Expected Impact: Increase brand awareness, provide a premium event experience for internal and external stakeholders, generate new pipeline and influence existing pipeline.
Key Event Focus Areas: Conferences & Trade Shows (with some ancillary and independent field events)
You would be a good fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of marketing events experience (experience in tech is a plus; experience in ecommerce tech is a double plus)
- Take an analytical, results-driven approach to event strategy and execution
- Have exceptional prioritization, project management, and budget management skills
- Are extremely detail oriented and an expert planner
- Have an excitement / passion for in-person events
- Are comfortable traveling across EMEA to support in-person events
- Have the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Are a clear and organized written and verbal communicator
- Have familiarity with marketing automation tools and the ability to learn new systems and programs quickly (Salesforce, Hubspot, and Asana)
- Can meet tight deadlines regularly
- Are comfortable talking to colleagues, customers, and meeting new people at events
- Work well in a fast-paced, startup environment
