Quantified Commerce is a US-based organization with a leading brand in the direct-to-patient healthcare space. We specialize in delivering medicines directly to consumers’ doorsteps across the United States. As we prepare for the next phase of growth, including an IPO, we are seeking a skilled finance professional to spearhead critical preparations for IPO readiness and compliance.
Who You Are:
You are an experienced, proactive finance professional with expertise in IPO preparedness and financial documentation. You thrive on navigating the complexities of regulatory requirements and financial processes for IPOs. With exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, you are eager to drive initiatives that ensure the organization’s IPO success.
Key Responsibilities:
- IPO Documentation & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of IPO-related financial documentation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC filings, prospectus preparation, and disclosure statements).
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and external consultants to ensure timely completion of IPO deliverables.
- Prepare and update business policies, memos, and control processes required for IPO readiness
- Develop and maintain robust processes for accurate financial reporting and internal controls to meet IPO standards.
- Financial Reporting & Analytics:
- Lead timely and accurate financial and management information system (MIS) reporting for management, with a focus on IPO-specific metrics and disclosures.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, pro formas, and other required reports for the IPO filing process.
- Systems & Processes:
- Evaluate and implement financial systems to enhance reporting accuracy and scalability for a public company structure.
- Develop workflows to support financial transparency, compliance, and IPO readiness.
- Lead the implementation of NetSuite to streamline financial operations and ensure integration with overall business processes.
- Compliance & Regulatory Readiness:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GAAP and SEC standards, where applicable.
- Coordinate with auditors, underwriters, and regulatory bodies as needed during the IPO process.
- Oversee the PCAOB audit process to ensure adherence to Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards.
- General Financial Management:
- Oversee month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and inter-company transactions.
- Lead tax planning and compliance, ensuring efficiency and minimization of liabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Qualified CPA or equivalent with at least 4+ years of post-qualification experience, including IPO preparation or public company experience.
- Developing policies and implementing control processes to ensure IPO readiness
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and other financial systems (preferred).
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial compliance.
- Proven experience collaborating with external auditors, underwriters, and regulatory bodies.
- Experience with PCAOB standards and audits.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
