Job Summary:

K2Africa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Firewall Consultant and Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced firewall architectures for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their security needs, provide expert advice, and ensure the highest levels of network security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Firewall Architecture and Design: Develop and design advanced firewall architectures tailored to meet the specific security needs of our clients.
• Implementation and Configuration: Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of firewall solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Security Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement robust security measures.
• Firewall Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements, provide expert advice, and develop customized security solutions.
• Policy Development: Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for firewall-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior security staff and clients on firewall management and best practices.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of firewall architectures, configurations, and procedures.
