Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Firmware Developer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our firmware, which is integral to our fleet management systems. This is a 100% remote position, ideal for candidates based in the Philippines. If you are an experienced firmware developer with strong skills in C++ and C#, embedded Linux, and CAN bus systems, and you are looking to lead impactful projects, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of firmware written in C++ and C#.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers on the firmware team.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to the firmware architecture and processes.
• Oversee version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks to ensure high-quality releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with other system components.
• Work with CAN bus and serial connectors to ensure seamless hardware communication.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and performance of our products.
• Occasionally travel (if required) for fieldwork or team meetings.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in firmware development.
• Expert knowledge of C++ and C#.
• Extensive experience with embedded Linux systems.
• Proven experience with CAN bus and serial connectors.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring development teams.
• In-depth understanding of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to firmware development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be based in the Philippines, with reliable access to remote work infrastructure.
