Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Development: Own the design, development, and deployment of user experiences with a focus on maximizing client-side performance using Next.js, React and Tailwind.
• Collaboration & API Optimization: Partner with back-end engineers to define efficient API contracts and ensure seamless data flow for a superior user experience.
• Performance Monitoring: Leverage observability tools to monitor and enhance client-side performance, proactively addressing bottlenecks.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and provide feedback to front-end team members, promote best practices, and lead by example to foster growth and excellence.
• Innovation & Efficiency: Drive platform innovation with advanced SEO strategies, integrations, and automation to enhance user engagement and streamline processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Past experience building ecommerce systems is a must.
• 8+ years experience as a Front End Software Engineer.
• Minimum 8 years experience working with React.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with Next.js.
• Minimum 4 years experience working with Typescript.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with Tailwind or similar CSS frameworks.
• You thrive in startup environments – Fast paced environments energize you and the lack of red tape excites you. You need limited direction to get your work done. You don’t have preconceived ideas on how things should be, you’re fearless in failure & ready to be experimental.

Bonus points:

• Experience building and maintaining AWS as a cloud hosting provider.
• Experience with native app development through React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with backend microservices powered by Node.js
• Experience building marketplaces.
• Experience with Shopify.
