Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote)

About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated senior level Frontend Engineer to join our Product / Tech team. Our team is all about crafting software that feels natural, honest, and joyful to use. We care deeply about the details of usability, accessibility, and performance, and we work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products we build support our business objectives. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in disrupting the used car industry by envisioning and implementing ambitious software solutions, both for our internal and external users.

The development team is remote-first (EU timezone only), and this is primarily a fully remote position. If you live in Stockholm, Sweden, you are also more than welcome to work from the office. Let us know what works best for you!

What you’ll get to do:

• Develop our internal applications written in ReScript as well as our public facing website running Next.js and TypeScript.
• Contribute to all stages in the product development cycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build software in a cross functional team with UX, design, product and engineering working together as one.
• Learn and grow your wider skills from senior colleagues across many disciplines / departments at a startup where you can stay close to the entire business.

Who we look for:

• At least 5+ years of working experience as a frontend engineer
• A plus if you have experience with ReScript or any other functional programming language
• Skilled in React
• Curiosity to learn new tools, technologies and languages
• A good communicator. Enjoys discussing different solutions to solve technical as well as UX problems
• Empathy. The ambition and will to empower the people around you, a mindset of leading through example
