Senior Frontend React Developer (Remote)

Clearstory is seeking a senior frontend software developer in the Philippines to help build a world-class engineering team. You will build out a new software category within the massive trillion dollar commercial construction industry. We have a hands-on culture and expect the same of our developers. You will work on teams with members from the US and around the world, and will need at least 6 hours of overlap with our 9-5 US/Pacific time day. (12 AM – 8 AM Philippines time)

About The Role

As a senior frontend React developer you will be working on the core feature team, reporting to our core team lead, to build our customer facing software. This includes maintaining a core UI library and working on core web application features including complex components and real-time communication tooling. This cross functional team is directly contributing to the foundation of our SaaS based offering and is highly collaborative with other teams in the company. There are plenty interesting technical challenges to solve and creative opportunities.

Requirements

As a great fit for this role, you will have…

• 5+ years of front-end web application software development experience using React and TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience with CSS and styling React components
• Experience with the Material UI library
• Experience with writing unit and integration tests
• Experience with SDLC processes, Agile, and working with a team of engineers and QA resources

In addition, we’d love to talk if you have…

• Experience with responsive design, mobile web
• Experience with Storybook and Chromatic
• Experience with end to end tests
• Experience working in an environment that meets SOC 2 Type II requirements, GDPR, CCPA
• Previous experience working in the commercial construction tech industry
