💡 What You’ll Do 💡

• Architect the Future: Lead the development and maintenance of our Next.js-powered flight booking engine, ensuring seamless performance, exceptional user experience, and robust security.
• Master the Stack: Work across the entire stack:
• Front-End: Craft elegant and responsive user interfaces using Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and potentially Figma for design collaboration
• Back-End: Build scalable and efficient server-side logic with Node.js, handling API integrations, payment processing, and data management using NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and potentially PostgreSQL
• Deployment & Optimization: Utilize Vercel or similar cloud platforms for deployment, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security across multiple regions
• Innovate Relentlessly:
• Collaborate with a remote team of engineers to enhance the platform with new features and UX improvements.
• Integrate with cutting-edge payment solutions, flight APIs, and other third-party services
• Continuously monitor and optimize performance using best practices and tools
• Think Critically:
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime
• Proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews

🧠 What You Bring 🧠

• 5+ years of hands-on Full Stack or backend experience
• Sharp Intellect: A proven track record of solving complex problems and a passion for learning new technologies
• Experience working with Flight ticketing systems / OTAs
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with:
• Next.js framework
• JavaScript/TypeScript (including ES6+)
• Node.js for server-side development
• NoSQL databases (MongoDB) with potential experience in PostgreSQL
• Front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Cloud Deployment: Proficiency in Vercel (or similar) for deployment, performance optimization, and security
• Payment & API Prowess: Experience with payment integrations and advanced API usage, or a strong desire to learn
• Critical Thinking: The ability to analyze, evaluate, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Version Control: Advanced Git skills for efficient collaboration and code management
• Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a remote, collaborative setting

• Figma design skills
• Familiarity with front-end performance measurement and optimization tools
