About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be an influential member of our product and engineering team, leading R&D investigations into candidate product and technology applications, building new products from 0 to 1, and working with an interested and inspired team to continuously enhance and scale our category-defining platform and the systems that support it. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow engineers, product managers, sales and operations leaders to tackle real business, technology and customer-facing problems that will have a direct, and highly visible, impact on the success of our products and the families that depend on them.
**This is a hands-on software engineering role. You will join a small team of experienced
engineers that are interested in the “why”, care about quality, and love to ship products.
In summary, we are looking for Sr. Full Stack Engineer who brings depth in cloud
platform, distributed systems/SRE, modern DevOps (incl. Infrastructure-as-code;
Terraform preferred).
**C1 English level mandatory.

What we’re looking for
● +6 years of professional experience in software engineering, building customer-facing
software (startup experience preferred)
● BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
● Attention to technical excellence, and proficiency with object-oriented programming
● Demonstrated ability to balance pragmatism and innovation in your technical decision
making to maximize ROI, balance trade-offs (speed, accuracy), and manage risk
● Proficiency unpacking business problems into workable, logical concerns, and
communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
● Ability to confidently articulate the pros and cons of available solutions and offer
thoughtful recommendations that demonstrate your understanding of business and user
goals, incentives and constraints
● Ability to pair, mentor and inspire other developers through action
● Proven track record working with our technology stack: Node, Typescript, React,
Terraform, Github Actions, AWS (preferred; not required)
● Knowledge of cloud native software development, modern DevOps and security
standards, patterns and best practices
● Ability to lead design and implement efficient RESTful APIs and microservices
● Experience scaling applications with containers and container orchestration frameworks
● Exposure to leadership or mentorship roles, particularly on a remote development team
● Previously built and deployed 12-factor apps as part of a collaborative project
● Definition of SLOs / SLAs, and design of monitoring thresholds to alert of breach risk
● Experience with technical governance and enforcement of policies and standards Bonus stuff
● Domain experience working on process automation and/or document processing and
manipulation projects at commercial scale.
● Technical expertise in distributed systems
● Familiarity deploying 3P document manipulation libraries, data mapping and templating,
RPA, AI, customer scripting and application development, ORMs or other technologies to automate repetitive, rule-based document processing and data entry tasks that typically require human intervention.
