What you will do

• Take ownership of the entire BE for mobile application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance;
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Architect, design, and implement efficient and scalable BE application;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices;
• Collaborate with mobile developers to integrate APIs and services;
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and usability.

Must haves

• 5+ years of development experience in React.js (30%) and Node.js (70%);
• A strong sense of ownership and willingness to overcome every challenge with the same level of energy, regardless of the complexity or the end goal;
• Experience working in an environment leveraging remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g. Github, Slack, JIRA);
• A deep sense of quality and attention to detail;
• Strong software engineering foundation and experience;
• Experience working with React Native;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Experience working with Typescript;
• Optional: experience with GCP;
• Optional: experience with Strapi;
• You are passionate about writing clean, modern, maintainable, & highly-performant code;
• You have a pro-active ability and a self-starter attitude to troubleshoot and solve problems;
• You have experience working in an Agile environment;
• You have strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal effectiveness, in one-on-one interactions and presenting to a room;
