Senior Full Stack Engineer Node Js React Js (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our global team of 6,000 professionals in more than 60 offices worldwide.

Valtech is a founding member of MACH Alliance, a group that educates enterprises on best-of-breed Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless (MACH) technology. Among the projects delivered are works for Levi’s, BMW Online Store, Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience (5+ years) in Node.JS, Typescript, React, Next.JS
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Awareness of security topics related to frontend and backend development
• Experience with unit testing and frameworks like Jest or Mocha
• Understanding of what is CI/CD and how it works
• Experience with any major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills with a sense of accountability. Comfortable with both techies and non-techies
• Proven ability to work in Agile and Scrum methodologies within cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to take the lead and make key architectural decisions
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Strong desire to learn more about business every day

Optional

• Knowledge of commercetools or similar commerce platforms
• Knowledge of Contentful or similar CMS platforms
• Interest or experience in adopting new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Experience with any frontend hosting platforms like Vercel, Netlify, etc
• Proficiency with state management libraries like Redux
• Experience in handling/testing accessibility

The Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will:

• Lead and build high-quality Node.JS and Next.js solutions, from planning to delivery
• Fullstack development (backend heavy)
• Guide and mentor other developers through code reviews and technical sessions
• Work closely with clients to clarify requirements and shape technical decisions
• Drive improvements in our processes (CI/CD, testing, code quality)
• Work on challenging, real-world projects and push technical boundaries
• Have the opportunity to speak at conferences and share knowledge internally
