Senior Full Stack Engineering Manager (Remote)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, combined with proven management experience. You will be responsible for guiding the team through complex projects, ensuring high-quality code, and fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of fullstack engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support career development for team members.
• Coordinate with other teams and departments to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects from inception to deployment.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
• Lead by example with hands-on coding and architectural design, when needed.
• Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scopes.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the engineering department and company-wide technology initiatives.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and workflows.
• Implement and advocate for agile methodologies and tools to enhance team productivity and project delivery.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on fullstack technologies.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Next js, PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
