**Position Overview**

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to become a pivotal hire within our Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone eager to mold our technology direction, spearhead innovation, and guarantee the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficiently performing solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to work on blending impeccable design aesthetics with powerful, data-driven APIs. You’ll be an early member of our growing Engineering team and your input will help shape our team culture and build best practices and documentation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead backend and frontend technology efforts with a focus on Python, Django REST Framework, Typescript, React, and PostgreSQL

* Ensure robust integration with both new and legacy systems, including external 3rd-party APIs and data sources

* Work in tandem with cross-disciplinary teams to tailor solutions that meet both customer requirements and business objectives

* Uphold and advocate for high coding standards, best practices, and system security measures

* Ensure product reliability and participate in troubleshooting and debugging live environments when necessary

* Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning

* Engage in product and technology strategy discussions, contributing to planning, estimation, and execution phases

**Qualifications:**

* 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with significant expertise in backend technologies and Software Architecture

* Experience interfacing and integrating with 3rd party APIs and SDKs

* Strong knowledge of another cloud service like AWS, Heroku, GCP, or Vercel. Knowledge of SQL required (Postgres, MySQL, etc)

* Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures

* Demonstrated skill in navigating complex problem-solving, code optimization, and project management

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
