Position Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Remote – LATAM

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong engineering background to lead and innovate on our core platform. This role involves collaborating within our expansive engineering team to drive quality-driven development in a fast-paced, agile environment. As a self-motivated and versatile developer, you will engage with the complete technology stack, from the front end to the backend, contributing significantly to our ambitious projects. Your role will be critical in guiding projects from inception to deployment, leveraging your expertise in web development, automation, and cloud technologies. Additionally, you will design, develop, and deliver software systems that support new product features, ensuring high standards of documentation and code quality. Your responsibilities will include:

• Work on end-to-end project development from technical discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality, testable, and well-documented code for both front and backend.
• Design, develop, and deliver software systems supporting new product features, leveraging modern technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to evaluate and enhance product metrics through insightful analysis.
• Partner with Data Scientists to integrate machine learning models into practical experiments, utilizing Python as needed.
• Work with UX Developers to create user-friendly interfaces and enhance application interactivity.
• Maintain a proactive approach to improving processes and technologies, seeking out automation opportunities and best practices.
• Ensure software engineering principles are applied, particularly focusing on automation, testing, and deployment strategies with AWS and other cloud environments.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• 6+ years of software development experience in highly reliable, mission-critical software environments
• Advanced proficiency in front-end development with React
• Advanced experience in back-end development with Node.js and serverless frameworks
• Experience with message queuing systems such as BullMQ and Redis
• Basic knowledge of Python for specific tasks such as web scraping with Puppeteer
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices architecture, leveraging serverless frameworks to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Utilize and manage cloud platforms such as Fly.io and Supabase for deploying and scaling applications across the cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with GitHub actions and other CI/CD tools
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including advanced understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Intermediate focus on security, testing, and data protection
• API development experience (Nice to have)
• Enterprise SaaS experience (Good to have)
• AWS familiarity (Good to have)
• Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX Developers.
• Problem-solving acumen to navigate complex challenges and drive continuous improvement in processes and technology.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise interaction with team members and stakeholders across various disciplines.
