What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Utilize programming languages like Java and/or Go for advanced-level application design
• Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle
• Lead in design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
• Mentor other engineers and share best practices across teams

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Fluency in at least two modern languages such as Java, Go, Python, or Spark
• Understanding of micro-services architecture and extensible REST APIs
• Experience with PostgreSQL database design, implementation, and administration
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or willingness to learn
• 4+ years of professional software development experience within a Java framework

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
