PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our client is the world’s leading mentoring platform, empowering individuals to find mentors and become mentors while helping organizations scale and manage successful internal and external mentoring programs. Their mission is to create transformative experiences for people and organizations by facilitating impactful mentoring relationships that foster professional growth and development. We are looking for a talented Senior Golang Developer to join the team and support the development of the large-scale mentoring platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in backend development with Golang and a proactive approach to solving complex technical problems.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
— Contribute to the back-end architecture of the platform by developing and maintaining Golang-based services and APIs. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the platform;
— Ensure effective problem resolution and communicate with clients and stakeholders as needed;
— Work closely with development teams ensuring seamless integration with the Golang services and addressing any related challenges;
— Collaborate with the DevOps team to enhance the CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient deployment of backend services and smooth integration with the front-end. Help troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure a reliable production environment;
— Contribute to the knowledge base, documenting solutions and processes for team members;
— Identify areas for improvement in the codebase and proactively address potential bottlenecks, security issues, or performance problems. Ensure the stability and reliability of the platform in a fast-paced environment.
IF YOU ARE
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
— Strong experience with Golang (backend development and API design);
— Experience with microservices architecture, API development, and integration;
— Proven track record of working in a fast-paced development environment and handling urgent client requests;
— Familiarity with working in an environment with a PHP/Symfony and supporting cross-functional teams;
— Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes);
— Strong knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, and best practices for building robust backend systems.
