The Opportunity

As a Senior Graphic Designer / Art Director at Pitchday, you will join our global creative team to bring client stories and messages to life by combining creative direction, concept development and graphic design into visual experiences that engage, excite and educate people around the world.

The Role

  • Creative Development: Conceptualize and develop compelling design concepts for print, digital, and social media projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, motion designers, and the client services team to create cohesive and impactful designs.
  • Project Execution: Independently execute approved concepts, managing timelines and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers, fostering their professional growth and creative development.
  • Workflow Management: Efficiently manage project workflows, taking responsibility for deadlines and deliverables. Organize and manage design files, ensuring accessibility and version control within the team.
  • Proactive Communication: Collaborate, document, and communicate effectively throughout all stages of the design process.
  • Demonstrate a learning mindset: Stay updated on design trends and technologies, stretch the boundaries of the craft each day, sharing trends and formats with colleagues.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on art direction.
  • Proven ability to create visually stunning and impactful designs.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and typography.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects.
  • Successfully manages time, process, and workflow.
  • Solid ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).

Interview process

  • Creative interviews: You’ll meet the hiring design team who will evaluate skills needed to be successful in your role. No live designing. 45 minutes, varies by role.
  • Offer: Time to celebrate! If everyone’s happy, we’ll make you a custom offer to join us.
  • Response time: Every offer is reviewed by several senior team members, applications usually take 1-2 weeks to get fully reviewed.
