What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design, development, and customisation of Guidewire Insurance Suite applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and optimise custom configurations, rules, and integrations using Gosu scripting language and Guidewire best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Guidewire implementations.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of Guidewire-based systems.
• Provide technical leadership to junior developers and contribute to peer reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of sprints.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire features and releases to identify opportunities for enhancements.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Guidewire Engineer, with expertise in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations between Guidewire and other enterprise systems (e.g., via SOAP/REST APIs).
• Strong proficiency Guidewire Data Model, Business Rules, Messaging, Configuration and Batch Processing.
• Expertise with database technologies (e.g., SQL) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Guidewire certifications (e.g., Certified Specialist) are highly desirable.
• Experience in the insurance domain, particularly underwriting, claims, and billing processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
