We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Implementations Project Manager to contribute to Atlas’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority in financial advocacy.
The ideal candidate will have direct project management experience in technology and healthcare, as well as strong workplan development and strategic project leadership skills.
What you’ll do:
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment and stabilization, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans
- Be a client-facing representative of Atlas, hosting client and new-prospect conversations to review and work through Atlas’s technical specifications/requirements and provide consultative expertise to clients interpreting Atlas’s published data requirements
- Serve as an experienced coach to analysts, project managers, and other resources across Atlas, bringing forward and deploying creative ideas and efforts towards process and methodology evolution
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
- Build and develop project plans to ensure maximum performance: providing purpose, direction, and motivation to internal and external stakeholders and resources
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
- Prepare and present progress updates to appropriate executive and operational stakeholders on a regular basis, ensuring the highest levels of internal and external customer satisfaction are achieved
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client (including executive) stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Act as a liaison between Atlas and health system partners – address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
- Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within and across multiple projects
- Lead regular meetings with client and internal teams to support both individual project progress and cross-project initiatives
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Proactively identify active and latent project barriers and lead problem-solving exercises across client and internal teams to address and mitigate
- Structure and manage an integrated, multi-track project performance database with an eye on cross-team execution and performance improvement identification
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
- Manage contracts with partners by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, business, finance, or healthcare administration.
- Epic integration expertise or Epic Data Analyst experience, with specific experience in Epic Pharmacy and/or Epic Revenue modules.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, Flat File structures, SFTP protocols, HL7 standards, and the Clarity system for healthcare data reporting.
- At least 3 years of project management and related experience, preferably in healthcare information technology within consulting, client success, or implementation roles.
- Direct experience with healthcare IT project management, including strategic workplan development, execution, and delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and additional online tools (CRM, documentation wiki, etc.).
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing project plans to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong client relationships, including engagement at the executive level.

- Professional certification – including PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP, etc.
This position has an annual starting salary of $140,000.
