Job Description 

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you are responsible for managing the instructional design  components of assigned projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the  development of innovative digital learning solutions.

Department: Instructional Design Group

Reporting To: Head of Learning 

Budget: 16- 19 LPA

KEY EXPECTATIONS 

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience working on core digital learning/e-learning projects

• Strong understanding of digital learning development principles and practices

• Well-versed in the use of Gen AI tools for creating content 

• Experience in following established processes and guidelines in project execution

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite 

• Excellent time management and organizational skills 

• Independent, proactive, and self-motivated 

CORE TASKS 

• Project Execution (90%) 

o Work on instructional design elements independently or in collaboration with a  team (for entire courses or parts of courses) 

o Assist in setting up projects from an instructional design perspective (including  contributing to guidelines and specifications documents) 

o Develop content outlines, instructional plans and storyboard frameworks o Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and refine content o Create and review detailed storyboards 

o Review and ensure the quality of instructional design deliverables 

o Contribute to visualization and design discussions 

o Analyze and incorporate customer feedback to refine content 

o Follow project plans, project guidelines, and pre-defined processes 

o Use Gen AI tools:

▪ Utilize Generative AI tools for content creation, including drafting content,  generating media, and creating interactive learning elements 

▪ Refine and adjust AI-generated content to align with instructional design  objectives and quality standards 

▪ Identify and address limitations of AI-generated content and ability to ensure  its relevance and accuracy 

• Stakeholder and Collaboration (10%) 

o Collaborate with internal project teams and external stakeholders, ensuring  effective communication on instructional design tasks 

o Provide instructional design insights during discussions with team leads and project  managers 

o Offer support to team members in instructional design tasks 

o Flag any project risks related to instructional design tasks to the project manager,  suggesting mitigation strategies if required
