As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and informative training content for our customers, utilizing various formats including e-learning and virtual reality. Collaborating with subject matter experts, you will translate complex technical concepts into compelling learning experiences to showcase the functionality and significance of our products. Your work will influence public safety organizations on a global scale.

What You’ll Do

As a part of the Training team, you will work closely with key stakeholders to identify and address training requirements. As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will:

• Define learning objectives and content in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Develop new training content from scratch, focusing on complex technical areas
• Drive the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring quality and consistency
• Apply content and design standards for a seamless training experience
• Keep abreast of product updates and adapt training materials accordingly
• Optimize content creation processes without compromising quality
• Create additional training resources, such as infographics
• Gain deep insights into customer needs and product value to align training content with our mission

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design
• Experience in developing multi-modal training content beyond videos
• Proficiency in video creation/editing tools like Articulate 360 and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course integration
• Proven track record in creating engaging and effective learning experiences
• Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Flexibility for occasional travel, up to 2-3 days per quarter
• Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field preferred
