Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven IoT Engineer to design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions that bridge the gap between hardware and software systems. You will play a key role in shaping our IoT initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge, connected solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop IoT architectures, including hardware and software components.
• Develop firmware for embedded devices and integrate with cloud platforms.
• Work with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, or LoRa.
• Implement secure communication channels between IoT devices and cloud services.
• Set up IoT device provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and test IoT device prototypes.
• Analyze data collected from IoT devices and provide actionable insights.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in IoT systems, ensuring robust performance.
• Stay updated with emerging IoT technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Strong experience with IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google IoT Core).
• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of embedded systems development and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32).
• Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, etc.).
• Understanding of sensors, actuators, and wireless communication technologies.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with edge computing frameworks and AI/ML integration in IoT systems.
• Knowledge of IoT device certification and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with hardware simulation tools like Proteus or TinkerCAD.
• Understanding of IoT security best practices and threat mitigation.
