Senior Java Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications, using the latest technologies and frameworks
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and business analysts to design, develop, and deploy complex systems that meet the needs of our clients
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests, using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets the highest standards of quality and maintainability
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure that applications are thoroughly tested and meet the requirements of the business
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, helping them to grow and develop their skills
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks in Java development, and share your knowledge with the team

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring, and REST API
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications in a distributed environment
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices, including Agile methodologies
• Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests, using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium
• Proficiency in using build tools like Maven and Gradle, and version control systems like Git
• Experience in working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, and writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience in working with cloud-based platforms like Azure
• Experience in Payments or Financial Services domain is nice to have
