Senior Java Developer (Remote)

We are currently in search of a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join our committed team.

The chosen candidate will be crucial in the design and enhancement of laboratory information management systems and engineering support solutions. This role demands extensive experience in Java development and a demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Play a leading role in architecting and developing resilient, scalable Java applications
• Take charge of system architecture design for laboratory information systems
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide customized solutions
• Implement continuous integration and deployment strategies to streamline software delivery
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on advanced Java techniques and best practices
• Enhance system performance through code reviews and refactoring processes
• Promote and adhere to Agile practices within development teams
• Develop solutions that integrate smoothly with Amazon Web Services, Gitlab, and PostgreSQL
• Address and fix intricate software issues
• Engage in the ongoing development of system functionalities with innovative approaches

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies
• Background in Amazon Web Services
• Skills in GitLab, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with REST API and Spring Boot
• B2+ English language proficiency
• Flexibility to work remotely
• Capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Nice to have

• Display of projects utilizing CSS
• Understanding of the Microservice Architecture Pattern
• Qualifications in building cross-platform applications
