Senior Java Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, with a strong emphasis on AWS expertise. Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and sustain scalable, high-availability Java applications
• Deploy AWS solutions and ensure seamless integration with current systems
• Craft clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Diagnose and resolve software issues to enhance application performance
• Work collaboratively with team members to brainstorm software solutions
• Conduct rigorous testing to ensure software functionality and efficiency
• Guide and mentor junior developers, advising on best coding practices
• Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of development

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in AWS technologies and services
• Solid experience with web services or RESTful APIs
• Comprehensive understanding of the Java Spring framework
• Proficient in developing and overseeing microservices architectures
• Skilled in SQL for effective database management and operations
• Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication skills suitable for professional environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, especially in its integration for real-time data processing
• Understanding of Angular, useful for developing and managing front-end interfaces
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and scaling
