Senior Java Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the development, support, and maintenance of our corporate actions system in AWS cloud. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for coding, testing, maintaining, and supporting the tools to manage the CA content. You will work with other members of the application development, architects, quality assurance, data quality, project management, customer support, and technical operations teams on a variety of projects and day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets the highest standards of quality and performance
• Work with Amazon Web Services, REST API, GraphQL, CI/CD, and ReactJS to develop and maintain software solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure that the software meets the highest standards of quality and performance
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Expertise in Amazon Web Services, REST API, GraphQL, CI/CD, and ReactJS
• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Proficiency in working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
• Fluent English language skills with an upper-intermediate level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, including corporate actions and reference data.
