Senior Javascript Developer (Remote)

We are in search of a Senior JavaScript Developer to enhance our remote team. This role is crucial for someone who is deeply passionate about front-end technologies and is eager to drive projects to successful delivery in a collaborative, virtual environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the development landscape, utilizing your extensive experience to navigate complex challenges and innovate within our projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile (Scrum) framework
• Collaborate directly with clients to refine project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
• Integrate your JavaScript components with other system parts to create a seamless user experience
• Provide accurate task estimations, track your progress, and report on work completion
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
• Develop and update technical documentation on Confluence
• Showcase new features during Sprint Reviews/Demos to stakeholders
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior development staff

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience in JavaScript development
• Proficiency in Angular and Angular-CLI for robust application structures
• Experience with RxJS for reactive programming
• Skilled in unit testing with tools like Jest, Karma, or Mocha
• Knowledge of build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
• Strong expertise in TypeScript
• Solid understanding of core front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities
• High proficiency in English, capable of effective communication in a professional setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with server-side JavaScript environments like Node.js
