Senior Javascript WordPress Animations Developer (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior JavaScript & WordPress Animations Developer to join our dynamic digital marketing agency on a contract basis, with the potential for a full-time position in the near future. As a senior-level professional, you will be responsible for bringing our Figma designs to life through advanced JavaScript animations and graphics. Your work will be crucial in transforming static designs into fully interactive, visually engaging web experiences on WordPress.

In this role, you’ll be a key part of producing high-quality frontend designs with animations that elevate our clients’ web presence. We are looking for someone we can rely on to grow with us and deliver innovative, cutting-edge web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our design team to implement Figma-based designs and animations into WordPress.
• Develop custom animations using CSS, JavaScript, and libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, and ScrollMagic.
• Ensure that animations are optimized for performance and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Use drag-and-drop builders (Cornerstone and Elementor) to structure websites, while enhancing them with custom animation code.
• Create smooth, interactive, scroll-based animations and other dynamic effects as required.
• Integrate SVG and Lottie animations into websites for lightweight, high-quality visual experiences.
• Maintain the integrity of the design while ensuring seamless functionality within WordPress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in developing animations with JavaScript, especially in conjunction with WordPress.
• Expert-level knowledge of CSS3, JavaScript, and animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, and ScrollMagic.
• Experience implementing SVG and Lottie animations into WordPress websites.
• Ability to take Figma designs with animations and convert them into high-quality, functional websites.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design consistency and smooth user experience.
• Experience optimizing web animations for performance and load times.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Contract-to-Hire Opportunity:

This is a contract position for now, but we are actively looking to hire this role as a full-time position very soon. We are a growing digital marketing agency that needs a reliable expert to produce high-quality frontend designs with animations.
