💰 Salary Range: Circa £65,000 with £550 a month car allowance, 20% sales bonus
📍 Location: Remote (primarily working from home with occasional office visits)
🗺️ Territory: 1 x London role, 1 x Wales role
We’re on the lookout for 2 Senior Key Account Managers with market access experience to join our pharma client, a leader in their market with 3 new product launches planned for the next 9 months. The primary goal of the Senior Key Account Manager is to drive the uptake of local healthcare guidance, resulting in sales growth and an increased market share for the company’s portfolio of products.
📢 The Role:
- Focussed on working with payers and driving commercial switches (not a clinical sell).
- To develop and maintain ICB/NHS/STP/ICS Health board customer relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for a defined territory.
- Understand pharmacy processes and prescribing practices to support product adoption.
- Develop and implement account strategies to engage head of medicine managers and optimisation teams
- Prioritise accounts based on strategy and business potential, creating business plans to drive growth.
🏆 Accountabilities:
- Develop short-, medium- and long-term account plans by utilising business insights and analysis. Consistently monitoring and reviewing delivery to ensure milestones are met.
- Deliver targeted activity within primary care (and some secondary care) to drive conversion. This will primarily be ICBs/Health Boards/Payers/HCPs (including on some occasions GPs and GP practices).
🔑 Key Requirements:
- Experience gaining and driving switches through at ICB level.
- Experience working with Head of Medicines management, Medicine Optimisation Teams and HCPs.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of sales success
- Deep understanding of Payor strategy and the NHS landscape is vital
- Skilled in business planning and analysis
- ABPI qualified
