KBE Legal Talent is currently working with one of Australia’s largest services providers who are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. 
 

About the role:

As a Senior Legal Counsel you will be reporting to the General Counsel, and will be responsible for working closely with the supply chain business providing strategic, high quality legal services. 

This legal team are focused on outputs, they offer flexibility and you won’t be burning the midnight oil. 

A key part of this role will be:

• Leading all negotiations, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements and variations. 
• Working with the team to ensure client relationships are maintained and contract management.

Other responsibilities could include:

• Providing advice on corporate structures, company secretarial and data privacy matters.
• Briefing external counsel on a varying range of matters, as required from time to time.
• Developing and collaborating proactively in partnership with stakeholders across various business functions.
• Providing training to wider business on key legal risks, developments, areas for improvement and policies and procedures. 
   

Who we are looking for:

We are interested in speaking with Commercial Lawyers with a minimum of 7+ years’ PAE with strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills as well as experience in managing contracts and client relationships. This role will be ideally full-time however part-time could be an option for the right candidate.
