What You’ll Spend Your Time On (Responsibilities)
- Develop and execute email and push campaigns to drive user conversions, engagement, retention, and winback
- Manage the email and push marketing strategy and calendar, prioritizing projects to meet the company’s business objectives
- Create and maintain relationships with partners across Creative Studio, Community & Content, Product, and Engineering
- Track and analyze campaign performance, share performance insights with stakeholders, and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop hypotheses, run tests, identify key insights, and automate the most effective strategies to drive growth
- Stay up-to-date on the latest email and push marketing trends
- Collaborate across the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns in support of subscription, marketplace, and other offerings
- Manage vendor relationships, freelancers, and agency partners to complete projects in a timely fashion and on budget
- Partner with Product and Engineering on eventing, content management and recommendation schemes
What You’ll Bring To Skillshare (Position Requirements)
- 4-6 years of experience in end-to-end management of email campaigns (push notification and referral marketing experience is a nice-to-have)
- A deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing
- A proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective email and push campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and interpret campaign data
- Comfort coding with using an email design system and working with responsive HTML email templates
- A collaborative and team-oriented work style
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting email deliverability and inbox placement
- Must have experience using ESPs (e.g. Blueshift, Braze, Iterable) and SendGrid; Familiarity with Airtable, Parcel, Figma, and Looker are nice to have

The compensation range for this role is a base salary of $148,000, depending on experience. We have a strict non-negotiation policy and our compensation ranges are set and pre-determined based on external market pay for the country where a candidate resides and a candidate’s experience within the role.
