Senior Magento Software Engineer (Remote)

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with Magento 2 in eCommerce projects with 5+ years of track record
• Knowledgeable in Magento architecture and best practices, including headless Magento implementations
• Skilled in Magento customization, integration, and optimization
• Proficient in PHP 8.x and MySQL
• Adept with Elasticsearch, Redis, REST API, and GraphQL
• Competent in automated testing with PHPUnit
• Fluent in English, enabling effective participation in meetings and Scrum rituals
• Familiar with Knockout.js and RequireJS (would be a plus)
• Experienced with Docker (as a bonus)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Develop high-performing Magento stores from scratch
• Modify and update existing Magento sites
• Write clean, unit-tested code with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Analyze requirements, wireframes, and APIs of related applications to propose integration solutions
• Assist the team with decomposing user stories into tasks, estimating effort, and planning sprints
• Lead the team to identify and address project impediments
• Research and share industry innovations and trends
• Continuously improve the health of applications with forward-thinking code improvements, process refinements, and new tooling
